Serves four
1/2 large cabbage chopped roughly
Place in saucepan and add water to half cover
Bring to boil
reduce heat and cook on medium heat for approx. 15 minutes or until soft but not mushy. Test with a fork and drain well in sieve when it is too your liking.
Put it back into pan and add salt and pepper to taste and 1 TBLSP. butter
Toss and serve with Pork Chops and mashed carrots and turnip
