mashed carrots and turnip

one of our favorites

Serves four

Three large carrots, peeled and sliced
1/3 large turnip, peeled and diced

Add water so vegetables are just showing above the water.
Bring to boil
reduce heat to medium so there is a gentle boil happening

When vegetables are quite tender drain well
return to pan and mash
add 1 TBLSP. butter
salt and pepper to taste
