Avocado and Mango Salsa

We created this at the beginning of this Summer, 2016.
We had avocados and mangos in our fruit bowl and we rounded up the other ingredients we thought would add flavour.
This was the end result and it was delicious!

4 ripe avocados chopped
2 ripe mangos OR 3 ripe peaches chopped OR some of each. If it’s peach season when you make this recipe, use mostly peaches.
2 green onions diced
1/4 cup diced cilantro
1 TBLSP. maple syrup
pinch salt
pinch pepper
zest and juice from two limes
*If you like a bit of heat, add 1/4 tsp. finely chopped jalapeno pepper

*The first time, we did not add garlic. The second time we finely diced one clove. This salsa does not need garlic but it does not hurt it if you are a garlic lover.

Always Taste! You might prefer to have more or less of one or more ingredients. Feel free. Make it your own. There is no right or wrong.

Mix it up and enjoy with your favourite chips

We doubled this recipe the first time and it disappeared very fast. You might want to have more ingredients at the ready. The first time we used mangos and the second time we used peaches. Both were very good.
