And if four wasn’t enough…one more story!

More blessing than I could anticipate.

It’s short and sweet and blessed me all to pieces!

We have a home in Arizona. We like it here. Unfortunately we have little opportunity to visit but when we do, it is good.
Karel and Pat were referred to us as people who could manage things for us. They come in from time to time to check the water and make sure all is well. We have never laid eyes on them.
Until today.
They suggested we get together this afternoon to shake hands and sit down for a few minutes.
We said sure.
Good idea.
They came over and just now walked out the door. Nice people.
Getting up there in age. Karel has had to deal with lung cancer and the repercussions of that, but is on the upside and doing well. Except for paralysis in his face. “That’s why I talk so silly”.

We had cookies and coffee cups at the ready as good hospitality requires. They were running short on time since they were on their way to the hockey game. so the cookies and cups stayed put, on the counter. Although, “we cannot see that little black puck down on the ice. We just stand up and cheer when everybody else does.”
I couldn’t help but laugh right out loud.

They stayed for about an hour, arriving promptly right when they said they would.
We chatted for a few minutes and then, the unexpected!
Out of the blue
Pat said, “I have really been wanting to tell you, that although we take care of 50 (I said 50) homes, as far as we know, as far as we can tell, yours is the only one
with a BIBLE.”

You might try to imagine the look on my face.

“The first time we walked in here I said to Karel, look at that. I feel so good seeing that BIBLE sitting there”.
Again, I could feel them coming. Shoot! My eyes began to well up. Shoot! My heart was rejoicing.
Oh Lord, and you decide to bless me more and again. All in such a short time.
Karel said “we have met so many who are BELIEVERS”
And then I knew. I said “Now, I heard you say believer so I assume you ARE one.”
“Oh YES”
“I know I was healed of cancer because of the prayers of people across this country”.
And then I felt them coming again
The rest of our visit was more of the same.
Good! Uplifting!

They left and yes, you guessed it.
Blessing, yet again.

Who knows what tomorrow holds? Not me, that’s for sure. But one thing is certain, my soul’s blessing department, it’s full to overflowing.
